Ebony Horton Bradley, M.S.

Director of Communications and Marketing, Alabama Community College System 

Ebony has been working with Alabama’s community colleges since 2016 and currently leads the  marketing strategies for 24 of them across the state. Outside of work, Ebony serves as VP of Students for Montgomery’s Public Relations Council of Alabama Chapter and as a children\’s church teacher. 

When did you start your current job?

I was blessed to earn the new title in May 2022. I started working with Alabama\’s community colleges in 2016.

What is your main role at your company?

I lead multichannel and omnichannel marketing strategies for 24 community and technical colleges across Alabama.

What is your number one career accomplishment or highlight?

Right now, my top career accomplishment is being nominated to serve on a federal committee that, among other tasks, examines creative strategies for training workers for jobs in America\’s transportation industry.

How are you involved in your community?

I teach ages Kindergarten through fifth grade as a children\’s church teacher at my church, The Gathering Place, in Millbrook. I also serve as VP of Students for the Montgomery Chapter of the Public Relations Council of Alabama (PRCA). As a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, I also assist with various fundraisers and community events.

What is your key to success?

My key to success is intentionally trusting that God\’s grace for me is sufficient for \”today.\” It helps me not to worry about tomorrow and not get overwhelmed with what happened the day before. So, I believe in Jesus Christ and His strength within me to love and serve others. That belief helps me stay actively engaged in doing what I need to do each day.
